Tun Sardon Touge

Conquered!!!

Today, the weather is hot,i really sweating the whole day even while driving in touge. I went to Balik Pulau by using the second touge,Jalan Tun Sardon.A lot of cars passing through there today,so there was just a joyride for me :-)

The view is very nice,so I decided to park my car and take a picture over there, enjoy the view,we can see half of Penang island from SkyHill. But today I was driving my Wira, and then switched to Vios of my girlfriend one.

Nothing special today beside the picture of the SkyHill.Enjoy !!!

Adrenaline-X Revamped Edition IV

Finally...my main rig is downgraded successfully. Now it's in burn in mode.

I've moved the power supply to the bottom and re-wrap all the wires with smaller size spiral wrap.It looks more tidy than leave it un-wrapped.And I removed the 4-in-3 module too, since I using only one hard disk, there is no need for me to keep that module inside my casing.

I also moved the 3 DVD-Writer to the bottom there,it's easier for me to make the cables management, and it looks pretty cool at the bottom there.

Processor is my Q9450 equipped with Core Contact Freezer and Tuniq TX-2 from Sunbeamtech.Motherboard using the old Abit IP35-Pro with BIOS 17 flashed, while memory running 2x2GB G-Skill PC8000 F1,Display card is the outdated Palit nVidia 8800GT with non-reference heat sink fan.I bought a Western D 640GB AAKS series and made total of 5 partitions,so far, this pc is running pretty well.

Will update once I have something to upgrade :-)

Old Machine

Update :-)

New equipment installed onto this old machine and sitting idle all the way, this car no longer moving as now mostly into the Wira and go touge, petrol price is increasing slowly and I do not wish to spend so much on it.So my brother will be only driving it once a week which is on Saturday only.

It has MIVEC BlackTop inside and finished Stage 1 modification. 3 layers aluminium racing radiator,Apexi N1,GAB Japan adjustable suspension kit,Yokohama Parada with Drift-Spec from K-Speed,etc...

The car's paint is fading away, but inside is as good as new :-)

So,farewell to this ultimate compact racer, will spend my time more on that family car, just let it sitting idle, :-)

The "R" Emblem

It's one nice emble that I taken personally when there was a JGTC roadshow at Gurney Plza,Penang few years ago.

I was so excited and I went there early morning just to see the legendary "R" emblem. It was the JGTC winner,Xanavi Nismo GTR "23" (23 in japanese is almost same pronunciation as Nissan),without any delay, let's have the photo session begin!!!

The actual JGTC machine!

Front Ventilated Bonnet with killing look.

Xanavi, the well known name in Nissan racing sponsorship

Getting heavier and heavier...

Number 23 means everything in the winning!!!

Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic GT Wing, drooling right?

An useful electronic when in emergency accident.

Wow...Nismo LMGT4 by Volk Racing,a Forced single piece Magnisium wheel

Bridgestone Potenza Full Slick High Performance tyres

Basically,it's a perfet competition machine,I'm very glad that I have the chance to see it live, stay tuned for more pictures and sharing!!!

New Socks & New Shoes

w00t...!

Yokohama "Parada Spec II" & K-Speed "Drift Spec" in the house!!!

A new shoe and new sock for the MIVEC,Parada is really soft compound tyres and it's not suitable for daily use in touge, while the K-Speed wheel is only 5.2KG per piece, consider a light weight rims in such size.

The tyres are perfect in dry grip, will give it a ty on wet grip and see how it performs.

Proven to be 5.2KG :-) . By the way,I don't like the red lips of the wheels, will find a way to take it off soon.

w00t...more's coming,stay tuned!

Balik Pulau Touge

Conquered!!!

This is the route that I must go through in order to see my girlfriend, the Balik Pulau new touge.A very well known place for landslice to happen, especially after heavy storm.

The view of the Skyhill there si very beautiful,a nice place for lovely couple to enjoy their date over there, but I never been there, because I prefer to bring my girlfriend to somewhere else instead of  spending my time over there.

The Balik Pulau touge is much wider than the Teluk Bahang touge, but it's still challenging as it has few tight cornering some most of the time you are climbing up,so you need a very powerful engine in order to defeat your deadly opponents here,

Mitsubishi 4G91 Head

Mitsubishi 4G92 MIVEC BlackTop Block

Mitsubishi 4G93 4WD Gearbox FF mode

NGK Silicone Plug Cable

Borsh Super 4

Castrol Magnetec Semi 10W-40

The rest in stock condition, this is family car :-)

the length of the touge is 11.7KM,my personal best time with a 4G92 non-MIVEC stock tuning is 3 minutes and 41 seconds,i'll upload mroe pictures of the Skyhill view after this.

HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator

Recently,I sold off my Nokia N73 and get myself a HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator.

This SmartPhone is using a touchscreen type Window Mobile 6.0,I did a fresh ROM update to it and now it's runing very fine,it comes with Intel XScale PXA270 and I've overclocked them to run @ 550MHz,there is no significant improvement since the stock speed of the processor is clocked at 520MHz.

It has 256MB ROM capacity and 128MB memory capacity,I think that it's more than enough for me so far.The external supported memory modules are MicroSD, MicroSDHC, TransFlash and SDIO,the Navigation Chipset is using  Qualcomm MSM6280 gpsOne.

At the back of the phone,it has a 3.2MegaPixel camera,a mirror and aa flashlight which to support photographing in extremely dark condition. But even it's a 3.2MP camera, the picture quality is much poorer than my previous Nokia N73.

So far the phone serves me very very well,I have no regret in buying it for RM1999,it looks great and cool and very nice to hold.

Teluk Bahang Touge

I've been conquered the Teluk Bahang touge long time ago,it's a challenging touge with extremely narrow road, you will have to stop your car aside if there is a bus coming in front of you,so you can imagine how narrow is the road.

Due to its width, you can hardly see passenger car over here,it has a lot of dead spot where you have to be careful when overtaking or joyride. But after go through the touge, you will come to a big dam,the water of dam is the water that going to supply to whole Penang Island residential area.It looks great right?

I will update the length of the touge later after I go there again. The road is tricky and your car must be not in under steering setup, and if possible, learn the map first before you are into action.

Be careful when drving, never risk your life in touge.

Glacier™ Final Edition

After whole day of shopping with my mother,I was so tired...I miss her,but she angry of me right now,I said something that made her angry, she told me I hurt her deeply...I just wish she can understand what I was trying to tell her...

Since I'm quite free and I have nothing to do,I remember that I still have a pair of the super hot legendary D9GMH B6-3 in Crucial Ballistix Tracer 1066MHz 2x1GB module. Since it has been collecting dust for a long time, why don't just make it alive?

Now i set it to run only 700MHz but with tight timing of 3-3-3-9 2.12vdimm,I don't use any active cooling in Glacier™ for memory module so I didn't make it to run at high frequency and high voltage, since old batch Tracer itself is very very hot.

The ram itself has some bling bling effect, which is very nice to show off,but due to the built-in voltage controller for the LED,it makes this old Tracer hotter than any ram on the market nowadays.

so if not necessary,my advice is don't get this bling bling ram :-) This will be the last upgrade for this rig, since it's just a office pc and some minor gaming,i believe it's more than enough.

And see that display card inside? It upgraded from Asus nVidia GeForce 8600GT to HIS ATi Radeon X1950XTX then to this BFG nVidia GeForce 8800GTS OC2 320MB G80 A2 revision, the card is not as hit as the legendary X1950XTX but it performs much better than X1950XTX.But no matter how powerful is the display card,it's still bottlenecked by the old Netburst architecture Penitum D processor, what a waste...

Adrenaline-X™

I miss my Adrenaline-X™

It has been almost 6 months that my main rig is down,it serves me very well all the way,but it's time for it to rest for a while,it's in the process of downgrading, since I quit PC already,I don't need a super high end pc for myself.

I found the casing which is the Cooler Master Stacker STC-T01 in a very infamous compuet accessories shop. When i saw it collecting dust at the store room there,I shocked and after some negotiation, finally it's mine until today.

It works as my main rig,the main objectives of the rig are benchmark and gaming. But most the time,my elder brother is the one who using it.He loves gaming, especially after dinner. In order to satisfy his gaming need, this rig is heavily modified with some good hardwares.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 4.0GHz

Sunbeamtech Core Contact Freezer

Asus Maximus II Formula Republic of Gamers

G-Skill 2x2GB F1 1000MHz DDR2 @ 1066MHz

Palit nVidia 8800GT 512MB 256bit G92 @ 700MHz/2100MHz

Enermax Infiniti 650W Modular PSU

Western Digital Raptor 74.3GB 10000RPM @ RAID 0

Cooler Master Stacker STC-T01 Year 2002

LG H62N 18x DVD-Writer

TSST DVD-Combo Drive

Sony CD-RW 48x/12x/36x

Dell 2407WFP-HC @ 1920*1200/60Hz

Logitech G9 Laser Gaming Mouse

Saitek Eclipse I

Razer Mantis Control

Phillips SBC HP200

The name of the rig is:

Adrenaline-X™

It means,speed is everything...

Glacier™

Don't know which to choose in between Cooler Master 690 and Cooler Master 590?In the end,I grabbed them both and install everything I have, end up,I found out that 590 is way to go.

690 has very poor harddisk cooling, but the shape and looking of 690 is outstanding,it's fierce, and it tells the owner that it's ready to go 5GHz anytime :-) About 590,it's compact, great ventilation casing,it remains the taste of previous Centurion models,it can fit 2 units 120mm casing fan on top of the roof, while one 120mm casing fan at the side panel, one exhaust and one intake which is 120mm too.

Finally decided to keep only the Centurion 590.

Pretty cool huh? It's just a normal office work, this pc now is with my beloved girlfriend.and the name of the rig is

Glacier™
